Salon Strategies was set up in 2004 with the aim of exposing some of the world's most talented creatives to business principles and innovations that will secure the success and sustainability of the UK’s ethnic hair and beauty sector.  Salon Strategies delivers a sector-focused cross-cultural capacity building programme of support and advice for anyone involved in or wanting to join the UK’s most developed ethnic market sector with the following objectives:

  • To introduce BAME owned businesses to sound business principles and innovations that will secure the success and sustainability of the ethnic hair and beauty sector.
  • To improve the capacity of ethnic hair and beauty business owners to raise the profile of the sector and represent the sector.
  • To encourage businesses in the sector to raise quality standards and establish new policies and practices for business compliance.
